Privacy Policy for MuscleWise

MuscleWise ("the App") is a workout tracking application. This policy describes how we handle information when you use the App.
1. Summary
MuscleWise is designed to work primarily on your device. We do not operate a user registration system, and we do not knowingly collect, sell, or share personal data with advertisers or data brokers for our own purposes.
2. Information stored on your device
Workout data (such as sessions, exercises, sets, weights, and related preferences you enter) is stored locally on your device using the App's on-device storage (e.g. a local database). This data remains on your device unless you choose to export, back up, or sync it through features or tools outside the App (if we add such features in the future, we will update this policy).
3. Information we do not collect
We do not require you to create an account in the App for core functionality. We do not intentionally collect your name, email address, phone number, precise location, contacts, or other personal identifiers for our servers, because we do not provide a backend service that stores your workout content as described in this policy.
4. Photos and media (optional)
If you use features that let you choose images from your photo library (for example, to attach a cover for a custom exercise), those images are handled on your device in line with the permission dialogs shown by your operating system. We do not use this access to scan your entire library or upload your photos to our servers as part of the App's design described here.
5. Analytics and crash reporting
Unless we expressly tell you otherwise in a future update, we do not embed third-party analytics or advertising SDKs that track you across apps and websites for marketing purposes. If we add optional analytics or crash reporting in the future, we will update this policy and, where required, obtain appropriate consent.
6. Third-party services
The App may rely on platform services (e.g. Apple App Store, Google Play, or tools provided by your device) for distribution and updates. Those providers process data under their own privacy policies, not ours.
7. Children's privacy
The App is not directed at children under 13 (or the minimum age required by your region). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
8. International users
If you use the App outside the country where it is offered, your information remains on your device as described above; no cross-border transfer to our servers applies for the local data described in this policy.
9. Changes
We may update this policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top will change when we do. Continued use of the App after changes means you accept the updated policy.
